If you come into Piero’s Music, you’ll see a nice store packed with a lot of stuff. Some of that stuff includes the bigger items, like drums, guitars, basses, banjos, keyboards. And then there’s all the other stuff.

There’s one word we use to describe all of that stuff: accessories. And our store is filled with accessories.

What are accessories? They’re the things that help make other instruments work or things you need to play better. For example, a customer may have recently purchased a keyboard but neglected to buy a keyboard stand. Or the new keyboard they have may be their second or third keyboard, so they may need a keyboard rack, which stacks the keyboards one on top of the other. 

Or a guitar player may need a stand or rack for his guitars. You know, it’s one of the funny things about guitarists – they always seem to need more than one guitar. And those guitars may each need a strap, or a guitar player may like using different kinds of picks with different thickness depending on the instrument. Perhaps they prefer a thick pick for the acoustic guitar, and a thinner pick for the electric guitar.

Of course, electric guitars need more accessories. That electric guitar needs an amplifier for anyone to hear it. And to plug the guitar into the amp you need a cable. There are also effects pedals that can give your guitar that fuzzy ‘60s garage sound you really want to hear. And if you want to play somewhere other than your living room, you’ll need a hard or soft case.
